Notes on the September 21st session:

This week we completed the Goblin-Town Throne Room instance and quests, finished the Bingo Boffin activity in the Misty Mountains, and got everyone the Misty Mountains drops they needed for the first leg of their class quests.  We then completed the giant and troll slayer deeds.  You should only have the following quests remaining:

Epic

Misty Mountains

Distant Relations (vector to Forochel)

Bingo Boffin

A New Hunt (task says to "Talk to Spalvi at Gwingris, in Eregion")

Next week we'll pick up with the rest of the slayer deeds, and move on to Angmar if we have time.

Notes on the October 12th session:

This week we (almost) completed Western Angmar!  The only quest we have left on that side is Family History, the Halls of Night quest.  On the epic, you should now be on Book 6, Chapter 5: The Sorcerer's Doom.  Next time we will knock out chapters 5 and 6, and then head for Forochel.

Notes on the October 26th session:

This week we finished up the quests around Pynti-Peldot, as well as those around Zigilgund.  Finally, we cleared our first control point in the Battle for Forochel deed (the one near Zigilgund).  Next week, we'll meet at Pynti-Peldot and begin by knocking out the next two control points.

The only Forochel quest you should have right now is The City in the Ice.

I will catch up on quests while you all slay. My son, Ted, went back home to Arizona yesterday, so I'm okay to play again. I just wanted to spend as much time with him as possible during his visit -- over his objections. I finally won one!  Looking forward to questing with you all again once we hit the epic line again.

Notes on the November 16th session:

This week we worked on slayer deeds in Forochel.  I believe one fellowship finished them all, and the other was down to sabre-tooth cats.  Next week I will be out of town, but feel free to get together and do instances or skirmishes.  We'll meet again on the 30th, and will do the quests and deeds in Sarnúr.  If your class does physical damage, make sure to bring weapons that do Ancient Dwarf-Make damage.

Notes on the November 30th session:

This week we ran through Sarnúr and completed all the deeds except the boss deed.  We then completed the drake and giant wings of Helegrod.  Next week we will knock out the spider and dragon wings, check again on the Sarnúr bosses, and then head for western Angmar.

Notes on the December 7th session:

This week we killed three more bosses in Sarnúr, completed the spider and dragon wings of Helegrod, and knocked out the first round of quests from Gabilshathûr in eastern Angmar.  After turning in the quests we completed there and picking up the next batch, you should have the following:

Family History (left over from Western Angmar, Halls of Night quest)

Hidden Gems

A Dire Need

Champion of Maethad

Gaeruan's Rage

Scaled Menace

The Orc-Raid

Weapons of the Orcs

Next time we'll probably check again on the last two Sarnúr bosses, take another run at the Helegrod dragon, and then continue with eastern Angmar.

Notes on the December 14th session:

PLEASE NOTE: I will again be out of town on Monday the 21st, so I won't be available for SLotRO.  Feel free to group up and run instances or skirmishes if enough people are on.  I will be back on Monday the 28th.

This week we finished questing in Gabilshathûr, knocked out all the quests from Mykwyrth, and then moved to Gath Forthnir.  You should now have the following quests:

Angmar

------

Family History (left over from Western Angmar, Halls of Night quest)

A Tenuous Thread

Bogbereth's Brood

Cease and Desist

Help from the South

Rank and File

Stamping Out the Enemy

The Winged Host

Ferndúr the Virulent

The Battle Before the Rammas Deluon

The Battle for Aughaire

The Battle of Rhunendin

Epic

----

Book 7, Chapter 2: Crossing the Shadow

Urugarth

--------

The Enemy's Arms

Thinning the Horde

Further Upstream (task says to "Search Urugarth for the creature poisoning the water")

Next time we'll meet in Gath Forthnir and continue questing!

Notes on the December 28th session:

This week we completed Book 7 of the epic, and knocked out  a lot of the quests from Gath Forthnir.  You should now have the following quests:

Angmar

Bâlak, Emissary of the White-Hand

Ferndúr the Virulent

Karstíona, Emissary of the Trév Duvárdain

Laugi Goldentongue, Emissary of the Dourhands

Prakhum, Emissary of Goblin-Town

The Battle Before the Rammas Deluon

The Battle for Aughaire

The Battle of Rhunendin

The Keeper Garthamendir

Carn Dûm

Queen of the Host

Epic

Book 8, Chapter 1: The Flickering Flame

Urugarth

The Enemy's Arms

Thinning the Horde

Further Upstream

I plan on doing Urugarth next time, so the first thing we'll do is take the road from Gath Forthnir to Tármunn Súrsa, killing Garthamendir on the way, and getting the remaining Urugarth quests.  After Urugarth, we'll work on Book 8 of the epic, simultaneously picking up the Circle of Despair exploration deed.
