Notes on the May 3rd session:

This week we finished up the quests from Gwingris and Echad Eregion, and advanced the Bingo Boffin chain to the point where you have to enter Moria.  We also started Volume II, Book 1 of the epic, and we're on Chapter 4.  Next week we'll pick up from there, get our introductory LI, and get to work on the Echad Dúnann quests.

Notes on the May 17th session:

This week we finished up landscape quests in Eregion, finished Volume II, Book 1 of the epic, and ran the school and library instances.  We then worked on deeds in Eregion.  I believe most people are now finished with everything but birds and at most one other slayer deed.  Next week we'll finish up slayer deeds and head into Moria!

Notes on the May 24th session:

This week we completed the deeds in Eregion, and got started on Moria!  We completed all the quests in the Great Delving, as well as the two level 54 solo instances at the Dolven-View.

I'm out of town next week, so our next session will be on Monday, June 7th, when we will do the Silvertine Lodes quests, and take our first run through the Forgotten Treasury.

Notes on the June 7th session:

This week we did all the quests in the Silvertine Lodes, and did our first run through the Forgotten Treasury.  We then made our way to the Chamber of the Crossroads in Durin's Way, ran to the 21st Hall, and then advanced the epic to Chapter 3.

Next week we'll run the Forgotten Treasury again, then resume the epic until we get to the Durin's Way quests, at which point we'll proceed through the zone.

Notes on the July 19th session:

This week we completed most of the Flaming Deeps, took three attempts against the Watcher, ran the Grand Stair again, and then knocked out a couple of past exploration deeds.  You should now have the following:

Epic

Volume II, Book 3, Chapter 4: Mazog

Moria

A Final Foray (Watcher quest)

Enemies of Lothlórien (umbrella quest for Grand Stair, Forges, and Fil Gashan)

Nightmares in the Abyss (umbrella quest for Sixteenth Hall, Skûmfil, and Dark Delvings)

potentially other repeatable quests from the 21st Hall for the fellowship instances

Moria: Durin's Way

Reassembling the Statue

Moria: The Flaming Deeps

Impure Knowledge

The Ballad of Bingo Boffin

A Farewell

Next week we'll meet back at the Crossroads of Ash, complete the Flaming Deeps, and get started on Nud-Melek.  As soon as Elaelin joins, I want to break into threes and run Midnight Raid back in Echad Dúnann, so physical damage dealers can upgrade their weapons to Beleriand damage.  I'm also planning to do a challenge-mode run of the Grand Stair, take our first runs through the Forges and Fil Gashan, and give the Watcher another try or three.  We'll use any remaining time to continue through Nud-Melek.

Next week we will begin in Nud-Melek and knock out the "Instructions in the Map" chain, and the quests at Balin's Camp.  Then we will do a second pass through Fil Gashan and the Forges to finish up those instance quests.

Notes on the August 9th session:

This week we knocked out the quests in the Foundations of Stone, and then we ran the Sixteenth Hall and Skûmfil.  Next week we are going to pick up the epic where we left off (I am on Volume II, Book 3, Chapter 8), and advance at least until the drowned treasury (2.4.7).  We should also be able to run Dark Delvings.

This week we completed book 3 of the epic, ran Dark Delvings twice, and then ran Midnight Raid.  Next week we'll continue with the epic, and we may repeat more instances to mop up quests for people.

Notes on the August 23rd session:

This week we worked on the epic, and are now on 2.4.8.  We also took a couple of (unsuccessful) runs at the Watcher.  Next week will probably be more of the same.  :)
