Traditional Rift Run: Pre- Helms Deep Edition

It is time again my friends for a pre-expansion rift run. This is have to be earlier than the previous ones due to my odd scheduling. (which I am working on)

This will be Saturday the 16th at 5:00PM EST/3:00 PM MST. This isn't the usual "last run of the current expansion" as it has been in the past, but I have to make due with what I have. Check rapid raid for sign-ups.

I very much look forward to this and hope to see you all there. If we get enough people we could race through it and put up a prize or something. Or we could just have two groups each going slowly and having fun chillin' in the rift. Whatever.

I'll be otherwise engaged with college football activities on Saturday, too (probably as my team loses to Auburn).  :-(

Just to make this event more interesting than a straight blow through of a lvl 50 instance I have decided to make a rule change. Each player attending can only use max lvl 50 gear and no LIs. There are many good ways to go about getting this gear: crafting, AH, skirmish camps, instance running before hand (URU/CD/BG), and of course good old fashion mob killing. I hope this turns out to be a different and more fun way to run older content when the only goal is to have fun.

This was a great idea and a lot of fun!!!!!!!!!! We will finish Sunday. Please stick to the low level gear. It makes us work a tad. :)

Thanks guys for making this a very memorable Pre-expansion Rift run. It was fun going along with another one of my fool ideas. Thanks for being good sports.
