Server-Wide Scavenger Hunt Challenge!

As a part of our Grand Fifth Anniversary Celebration, All Shall Fade will be hosting a server-wide scavenger hunt challenge!

The scavenger hunt will be a challenge over the course of five days, requiring knowledge, speed, and determination. As each day passes, participants will be eliminated, until the final day which will feature the best scavengers competing for the final prize!

The Details:

Dates: Thursday, August 2nd - Monday, August 6th

Time: 6pm EST - 2am EST, daily

How It Works: At approximately 6pm EST on each day of the competition, the event organizer (Melwhin) will send an in-game mail to each participant with the clue for the day. This will be a clue that consists of a brief riddle, which will guide the player to an item in-game. The participant must collect the item and send it back to Melwhin via in-game mail within the allotted time frame to advance to the next round. Participants have FOUR HOURS from the point the clue is sent out to reply with the answer.

Day 1 (Aug 2): All participants who get the correct answer within the time frame advance.
Day 2 (Aug 4): The first 6 participants who get the correct answer advance.
Day 3 (Aug 5): The first 3 participants who get the correct answer advance.
Day 4 (Aug 6): The first participant who gets the correct answer is declared the winner.

Prize: 1 Level 75 2nd Age Legendary Item of your choice!

Rules:
- Register by sending an in-game mail to Melwhin. Deadline for registration is 11:59 pm EST on August 1st. You will receive a confirmation reply from me.
- No late answers will be accepted.
- Players are permitted to change their answer one time per round. To change your answer, simply send a second mail with your new answer attached. This completely overrules the original answer.
- Only answers from the same character that originally registered will be accepted.

Notes:
- Participation is completely open to any who are interested.
- Areas and items involved will include any areas for levels up to and including level 60. (Eriador, Moria, and Lorien, essentially.)
- Items involved will be able to be acquired directly by any player, regardless of class, race, or crafting profession.
- After the time frame for answers closes each day of competition, I will post here the clue, the answer, and the list of players still in the competition.

There's just over a day left to register for this event, and currently there are only two people registered.

I'm going to say we'd need at least 6-7 competitors to make the event worthwhile, so unless we get to that point by the deadline I'm afraid the event will have to be canceled.

The first clue will be mailed out to all participants tomorrow at 6pm EST sharp! I've adjusted the rules above a little bit to better fit the number of people who will be participating. I'll post here again after the clue has gone out, and once again after the time's up with the day's results.
