Winter Shall Fade Party 2011!

It's time for the annual Winter Shall Fade Party!

The party will be held on December 10th, at 6:00PM EST

This will be a special event where all the kin can come together to celebrate the holidays and enjoy the company of our fine kin membership. What makes this party more special than any other ASF party? We will be giving special awards to those who have contributed and shared their talents, effort, time, and bizarre sense of humor to the kin. There will be 10 awards, with accompanying gifts given out. There are three awards that will be eligible to be awarded to anyone in the kin, including officers, however, the other seven are for members only. The awards are as follows:

Kin-wide awards.

Lifetime Achievement Award

This award is to honor an individual that has been in the kin for a long time, and given much of their time and effort to making this great kin what it is today. The lasts years recipient was Melwhin, former leader/1st officer of ASF, and one of the founders.

Most Valuable Player Award

This is given to someone who has shown great leadership and is always there for a kinnie in need. A player who is someone everyone can count on, and makes being in the world of Middle Earth a joy for all. Last years award was given to Trinite.

Kin Whip

Given to a member who has shown a great attitude in getting people together, and focused on running raids, and instances.

Members Awards only

Most Helpful

Given to someone who is always willing to share their time, and wisdom with the kin.

Most Giving

Given for sharing their resources, and crafting time or material with the kin.

Most Improved

This speaks for itself.

Over Achiever

Awarded to a member that always goes above and beyond.

Kin Comedian

Given to with the most bizarre sense of humor, and can always get a laugh.

Dazed and Confused

Given to that "special" member who always seems to find a cliff just long enough to fall off, or can never tell if they are in The Shire, or Rivendell.

Most Evil

Given to the member most likely working for Sauron.

Members and officers will be nominated for these awards by the membership body on the website and voted on. You cannot nominate yourself for any awards.

Now to the real meat of our party, THE EVENTS!

The events that will be taking place:

Tolkien Trivia- hosted by Everen.

Skirmish Races- Groups of 3 man skirmishes that will be racing for prizes. This will be held for multiple level ranges. Ranges will be:

50-60
61-65
66-70
70-74
75

We usually have lower level ranges, but with cap increases and difficulty in organizing all of the level ranges we have to limit the levels. Prizes will be awarded to winning group in all ranges.

Hide and Seek

We will have someone hide in a given area, and the first one to find the player, wins!

Freeze Tag

This is held in the Bree Festival grounds and is always a blast.
