I wanted to start the discussion here so all of us could get the benefit of discussing and finding the best virtues. Here's the new virtues (unoffical):

There are many very good tanking virtues with these updates. I have been trying to determine which ones are better. A preliminary look at these have me thinking that my tanking traits will need some big changes. However, I have not seen many fantastic DPS virtues.

For tanking:

Zeal (12) +338 Morale, +388.8 Physical Mitigation, +180 Armour
Valour (12) +338 Morale, +486.5 nCPR, +9 Migh

Remember that stats are being streamlined per class now. So burg melee offense, I believe, will be based on agility just like hunters. Keep that in mind when selecting virtues.

As a general rule I really like the streamlining. Because I'm using an overpower tanking build, I may be forced to use slightly different stat primaries than my sword and board compatriots. I can only hope that with the streamlining I will still be able to be as efficient as I am now or even more so. The streamlining of resistances will definitely help though as it is one of my current weak spots, namely shadow resistance.

You may want to reconsider many things with the guard, given changes to your class. And be aware that your rotation and build has as much to do with your class as it does with the other classes with you. (Check out the changes to Cappies, minstrels, and the other classes and their corresponding gear, when that information becomes available.) There is a lot changing and I don't think any class will be as effective unless they study the changes, and adapt to them. I have no idea what I am going to do for some of my classes, but more on that later.

I know some people in beta as well *cough*... but I have never played a burg, I only know the rudimentary ideas behind it. Thanks for correcting me on the stat, it's getting hard to to remember all these new changes and keep them in line.

Which reminds me; I need to start a new thread...

Honestly, marithil. I've read and reread that post at least 4 times now. It basically just tells me the same thing over and over. I get new goodies no matter what build I choose, there are new perks for going overpower and might is still going to be an essential part of my build. The biggest goodie I see is the fact that I now will have a way of protecting my compatriots without the forced use of a shield. I'm probably going to do as I have always done, balance my stats so that I have no clear weakness by going part DPS in my stats and part tanking.
