MELWHIN: ELF OF LORIEN

Melwhin was born in the forests of Lórien in the year 113, Third Age. She lived in the forests of Lórien for many years, but one of her trips out of the forests was with a band of Lórien elves who broke the siege of Rivendell by the Witch-King of Angmar in the fourteenth century. There, she first came into contact with some of the surviving Dunédain of Rhudaur, while she stayed in Rivendell for two years after the siege.

After returning to Lórien, she remained there for many years. At some point in the twenty-fourth century of the third age, however, she made travels to the Elven refuges in Ered Luin and Lindon. These travels lasted for several years, and she happened to be staying at the refuge of Edhelion when it came under attack by dwarves. She helped defend the refuge, and after to battle continued on her journeys and then returned to Lórien.

Early in the year 3019, Melwhin leaves Lórien yet again to return to Ered Luin. Something calls her to return to the abandoned refuge of Edhelion, and she begins a new adventure...

Soon she encounters men who call themselves the "Ashes of Rhudaur". These men seek to rebuild the lost nation of Rhudaur, and she decides to aid them, remembering her encounters with their ancestors in the Siege of Rivendell.

After several months of time spent traveling with these men, disaster strikes when they enter the Red Marsh to try to slay the source of the corruption of Rhudaur. Their leader is slain along with most of their party, and Melwhin barely escapes with her life. The survivors are scattered like dust on the wind, and Melwhin is again on her own.

CELENDIL: ELF OF RIVENDELL

Celendil was born in Imladris (Rivendell) sometime in the late second age. She was a scholar from a young age, and stuidied extensively as a scribe and records-keeper in the libraries of Elrond for several centuries. She later dabbled in the art of healing as well.

Her first experience with war was tending to the wounded soldiers who returned to Imladris from the War of the Last Alliance at the end of the second age. Much later, war came to Rivendell itself for the first time, as the forces of Angmar besieged the city for a time during the Fall of Arnor. Elves from all around, including Mirkwood and Lorien, gathered to defend Imladris, and managed to drive off the defenders.

It was here that Celendil treated a young female elf of Lorien named Melwhin in Imladris, who had been wounded in the fighting. They came to become friends as Melwhin recovered, but once she was healed they parted ways. The war soon ended and Celendil went back to the library, but not long afterwards she became restless and wandered in search of more knowledge and lore. She went west into Eriador, and gathered lore from the Havens, Duillond, and Edhelion. At Edhelion, she was in the refuge when it was attacked and managed to fight off goblins who reached her study with her walking staff. There in Ered Luin, she again encountered Melwhin, and they traveled together for a time before parting ways. Celendil returned home to study the lore she had gathered. She also began to practice fighting with her staff and studying lore of battle to better defend herself on future journeys.

Now, with the tide of Angmar rising again, Celendil was found by friends of Melwhin in Duillond. She has sworn to use her lore and staff to protect Eriador as best she can, and has taken command of these companions since Melwhin has vanished....

ARTHE: MAN OF BREE-LAND

Arthur "Arthe" Douglas was born in TA 2992 in the town of Bree. As a child, Arthe was interested in military and warfare. Yet, He had no way to exercise this interest and knowledge he had gain until he enlisted in the Bree Town Watch when he was 18 in TA 3010. His first assignment to stand guard at the western gate of Bree.

In TA 3011, at the age of 19, Arthe was walking the The Great East Road westward. He witnessed a small band of brigands causing trouble along his path. His first thought was to go back to Bree and tell the other Watchers about this. Yet, he disregarded this thought and foolishly unsheathed his sword to attack the brigands. He slayed three, but he was defeated himself.

He was held captive for two days at a makeshift fort near Thornley's Worksite until several Bree-land Watchers were able to rescue him. He returned to Bree ashamed that he was captured, but many of his fellows at the western gate praised him for his courage. With self-esteem renewed, he asked for reassignment as a Bree-land Watcher. In TA 3012, he was approved and became a Bree-land Watcher.

He traveled Bree-land for years slaying and capturing outlaws that would do harm to the people of the land. He was promoted several times until he became incharge of a 6-man group(including himself) of Bree-land Watchers in TA 3017. His watchers and him were captured late that year in a night attack in Chetwood North. Four soldiers were killed leaving only him and the watcher Roland.

Him and Roland were imprisoned for the remainder of TA 3017 by the Blackwolds. On January 3, TA 3018, Roland and Arthe escape the Blackwolds prison and return to Bree. Roland stayed in Bree while Arthe went to Archet to help protect from a possible Blackwolds attack.

When the attack came, Arthe battled side-by-side with Captain Brackenbrook until Brackenbrook fell. When the seige was lifted, Arthe went to Bree to tell of what took place. He was promoted to the rank of Captain in April of TA 3018. Him and Roland set off again, but this time they were to venture into lands near Bree-land also to ensure that Bree-land is protected. These two continue to protect their homeland from evils that would harm it...

ANNADENA BELLADONNA: KEEPER OF MYSTERIES

Born of kings of a distant land beyond the Sea of Rhun, Annadena's true destiny is deeply hidden in the commonness of her upbringing. Daughter of Yessenia, a Seamstress of the town of Bree, she spent most of her youth toiling in the workshop, spinning wool and preparing dyes for fabrics. The work was monotonous, tedious, dull and boring. She was glad when the day was done and she could visit the market square to immerse herself in the goings-on of far-off places she could only dream of. Places she could only imagine from the stories told by the traveling Minstrels flowing in and out of the modest town.

Her mother was ever-vigilant in her attempts to keep her daughter grounded and tied to a "normal" lifestyle. This thing she did to her daughter, she knew not why, but only that she knew she must in order to protect her.

But nothing could extinguish the fires of wanderlust that Annadena felt building up inside herself. She was dead set from her earliest years; from the time she heard that first recital to be an explorer, a minstrel, or even a hunter. The years dragged on and the chores became ever-more mundane. Only the minstrels' stories soothed her melancholia. Inevitably, one story in particular that of an enigmatic woman named Yenessia from a distant land would launch Annadena on a life-long quest for her origins. Annadena listened intently to this fascinating tale and returned home immediately upon its conclusion. When she pressed her mother about the story and about her true father, Yenessia could tell her very little. She sat her down that night and related what little she could remember.

Yessenia was found wandering the deepest stretches of the Brown Lands by a Rohanian patrol that was itself hopelessly lost. Despite the patrol's best efforts to communicate with her, she would not acknowledge their existence. They tried offering her food and water but she ignored them completely. Perhaps she thought them to be illusions, perhaps she had been driven completely mad by the desert. She continued to press onwards, heading ever westward and the patrol decided to follow her, their protection being the one thing she could not easily refuse. Eventually, they all emerged from the desert, where Yessenia collapsed into a deep, deathly sleep. They took her back to a small village in East Emnet where she eventually recovered to full health.

Locals were understandably curious about her origins but she could remember nothing before waking up for the first time in the village. Yessenia accepted the hospitality of the village folk but once her pregnancy began to show she decided it best to move to Edoras to avoid further questions and speculations. Once there, she quickly gained an apprenticeship in a well-to-do tailor shop when the owner, a man by the name of Sargyll, discovered she had a flare with the finer fabrics of the aristocracy. She was always careful, however, not to draw too much attention to herself by adding a flaw here and there in her work.

Here she remained and gave birth to Annadena, and although not the true father, Sargyll married Yessenia immediately, becoming Annadena'a stepfather. Eventually the news of Yessenia's origins reached Edoras from the eastern regions of Rohan. The stories had become extremely exaggerated by the passage from one minstrel to the next in a long chain of poetic license. Fearing the worst, Yessenia convinced Sargyll they should move to Bree where he could set up the shop he had always wanted. Sargyll knew in the back of the mind it was the stories Yessenia was evading but he conceded none-the-less. It was here that the three of them settled and raised Annadena.

Upon learning of the true story from her mother or at least what little of it there was, and much to the chagrin of Sargyll, Annadena decided to adopt her mother's maiden name of Belladonna and begin the search for her true father.

Yessenia knew that she could protect her daughter no longer and it was time for her to find her own path in life, so she asked only that she return to Bree when she could.

Daradain of the Dunedain

Daradain was born in the Arnorion region of Arthedain in the year 2937 of the third age. Because much of Arthedain was in turmoil due to the wandering minions of Angmar, Daradain was taken by his mother, Serra, to Rivendel where they were aloud to stay for fifteen year. However Daradain fell out of favor with Elrond when he caused some mischief in Elrond's library.

Since they were no longer welcome in Rivendel, Daradain and his mother set out for Ost Guruth. It was during this trip they were beset by a band of orcs. Though Daradain escaped his mother died of a poison arrow.

After completing the trip to Ost Guruth with the body of his mother, Daradain decided to join the local defense force. During this time his paths crossed with Aragorn and, once he realized who we was, Daradain swore service to him. Because Aragorn had no immediate use for him, Daradain made his way back to his homeland of Arthedain in search of orcs to kill.

However, during a brief stay in Elsteldin he found not orcs but the most beautiful creature he had ever laid eyes on. Her name was Ellena. They both soon fell in love and could be found walking upon the ancient walls gazing at the stars together.

However, they could not stay together for duty had called Daradain once again. Aragorn had need of a scout in the Chetwood and Daradain was the best choice. But before he left, he gifted Ellena with the only possession he had of his mother's, a necklace, and vowed that he would find her again.

While he was scouting the areas around Stadle, Daradain was beset by Blackwold bandits and was overwhelmed. However, the quick thinking of the ranger Amdir saved him from death. Though Daradain was unable to save Amdir from the Nazgul, he was able to help save the two hobbits Amdir was charged to protect and also help in the defense of Archet.

Now he slowly makes his way back to Arthedain. To fulfill his oath to his lord, and to his lady...

Foreword/Forewarning: After realizing I posted this in the wrong area, I decided to post it here (you may laugh at my carelssness, I do no tmind :P). Anyways, this is a very long bio, I tried making it short, but when you roll a character who was born in the First Age, you don't have the luxury of being very brief. I put a lot of time into the research of grey areas. So I hope you all enjoy the biography of Jeffolas.

The History of Jeffolas Faelon:

Born as the second child (the first son) to Adreil and Arenthir Faelon. Jeffolas came into Middle-Earth in the year 506 of the First Age in the city of Gondolin. Very little of the city does Jeffolas remember from his youth, and that may very well be a good thing. For, in the year 510 of the First Age, the hidden city of the Gondolithrim fell under attack by the evil Melkor of the Valar and his armies of Serpents, Fire-Drakes, Orcs, and Balrogs.

Valiantly did the Elves of Gondolin fight, but it was to be a losing battle. When word reached the ears of Adreil Faelon that the armies of Melkor had battled through the outer walls, and that her people, the Elves of the Golden Flower, were in need of more assistance, she donned her armaments, against the advice of Lord Glorfindel (Lord of the Golden Flower), and made her way to the battle to buy time for her family to escape. In her haste, she instructed her eldest child and her daughter, Nimirian, to take Jeffolas to the pass by which the remaining survivors would take to escape to safety.

Meanwhile, Arenthir Faelon and The Twin Folk of the Swallow and the Heavenly Arch (famed as Gondolin's greatest bowmen) bravely held the wall, though it would be in vain. However, Arenthir, heralded as one of The Twin Folk of the Swallow and the Heavenly Arch's most valiant and strong warriors, fought his way to the people of the Golden Flower, where he had learned that his beloved wife had fallen just moments before his arrival to a Fire-Drake of Melkor's army while she bought time for her fellow Elves to make safe their escape, be they armed or unarmed.

In the end, Jeffolas, Nimirian, and Arenthir would be present when Lord Glorfindel staved off a pursuing Balrog at the cost of his life (at least for the time being), finalizing the safe escape of the survivors.
When he finally learned of his mother’s passing, Jeffolas became detached, and rejected any form of violence. He eventually pursued a leisurely life of studying lore and history; and in later years, Faelon would even come to reject the thought of ever loving another Elf.

Yet his son’s fear of war could not stop Arenthir’s desire to protect Beleriand and Middle-Earth. Out of fear of losing any of those he loved, Arenthir kept his children out of war by any means necessary. And for a time Jeffolas’ childhood and teenage years were spent wandering around Middle-Earth, before eventually staying at Cirdan’s Elven port city of the Grey Havens (known in the Elvish tongue as Mithlond) at the beginning of the Second Age. At that point in time the Faelons were contemplating leaving Middle-Earth behind, but Arenthir thought better of it. After nearly 1700 years of living in Mithlond, they moved to Elrond’s refuge of Imladris (Known as Rivendell by the Men of Bree) when it was constructed in 1697 of the Second Age.

In that time, especially during Jeffolas’ childhood, Nimirian did her best to raise Jeffolas. But eventually, Jeffolas began to separate himself from Nimirian’s motherly actions so that Nimirian could enjoy her life, and be more of a sister than a mother. The two grew very close to each other, some even joked that the Valar had made a mistake and had made the perfect match for the other, but had gave them to the same family. They watched each other’s backs and often walked the streets of Imladris in its full beauty.

Around this time, Sauron’s forces cornered the Elves in Eriador (victory in his grasp) after crafting the One Ring.

In response, Arenthir joined Imladris’ Army, which protected Imladris should it ever be threatened. In a short time, Arenthir quickly proved his worth, becoming one of Elrond’s greatest guards, eventually ascending to head of the garrison by fighting with an unspeakable and indescribable valor against Sauron’s armies in the war.

After Sauron’s first defeat at the hands of Numenor, Arenthir decided to move his family to Lothlorien, land of Galadriel, the Lady of Light, in the year 3323 of the Second Age (shortly after the Downfall of Numenor). There, Nimirian and Jeffolas studied, in great detail, the history of Middle-Earth and Beleriand, even some first-hand accounts from Galadriel herself (as she was one of the elves who left Valinor for Beleriand thousands of years ago). Jeffolas began to lose interest in lore, however, and began to take a fancy towards being a woodsman of sorts, survival in the wild and forestry; Nimirian on the other hand, further studied the lore, enthralled by history’s tales. This shift began Jeffolas down a road that would begin to alter his life forever.

Jeffolas’ first interaction with Men came in the city of Annuminas in the year 3325 of the Second Age; he fell in love with the city. That date in the Second Age would be the first and last times Jeffolas saw the city in all its glory. When he learned what came of it later on in his life, he swore that he would do everything he could to assist the Wardens of Annuminas in reclaiming the city in the name of the Dunedain. Thus Jeffolas has an intense passion in seeing the city restored; a behavior that is seen by his kinsmen as odd to say the least.

The Last Alliance was then formed in the year 3430. Arenthir, urged to join Elrond and Gil-Galad’s army to fight Sauron, was dissuaded by the thoughts of the loss of his wife and the pleas of his children. Eventually his thoughts of disdain for missing out were replaced with thoughts of happiness for his family.

Eventually, Galadriel called the Faelons forth, stating that they would all benefit from visiting Thranduil’s Halls in Greenwood the Great. And in the year 5 of the Third Age, they were welcomed into Thranduil’s halls.
It was there their lives would all change (such was Galadriel’s purpose for sending them there). Nimirian learned much from the annals of Thranduil’s library, eventually reaching the point which Arenthir compared her to her mother, Adreil. Arenthir became relaxed for the first time in many years under the great hospitality of King Thranduil of the Silvan Elves, and was finally allowed to become the father his children always wanted.

But most important of all, it was here Jeffolas would finally begin to walk the path that leads him to where he stands today. His skills as a forester and survivalist caught the attention of the Scouts of Greenwood the Great, a squadron of highly trained Elves who watched the forests for signs of the Enemy. Through them, his skills caught the attention of Thranduil’s son, Legolas Greenleaf, one of Greenwood the Great’s greatest Scouts.

Ironically enough, Jeffolas had already befriended Legolas, often spending time talking about the past, and drinking fine wines when Legolas was not on duty. Legolas, seeing potential in Jeffolas’ skills, decided to teach him more of the ways of the Scouts, including how to survive on nearly no rations, and camping in the wild unseen. Despite Legolas’ best efforts, however, he could not get Jeffolas to touch a bow. Jeffolas refused to learn the art of archery, even for recreation.

But the change Galadriel spoke of was drawing nearer, despite the necessity to learn archery to be a true forester; Jeffolas would not touch a bow. That is, until the year 1050 of the Third Age, the once beautiful woods of Greenwood the Great began to be tainted by a fell and hideous shadow, one that did not escape Jeffolas’ vigil. Legolas, sensing a danger, took Jeffolas out into the forest shortly thereafter, and what Jeffolas saw changed his mind about weapons and war. Spiders began to infest the forest, ones that talked in a fell tongue. In addition, a foreboding citadel built upon a hill, emanated an evil chill so terrifying that Jeffolas decided to take up the art of the bow from Legolas. Regardless of the sighting of Dol Guldur (as it came to be known) and the knowledge of fell spiders stalking the now dark and dim forest (Known from that point onward as “Mirkwood”), Jeffolas refused to train to fight off the horde, fearing he would meet his mother’s fate and fill his sister and father with an incurable anguish. Rather, he decided it best to just learn the art of archery for survival and hunting.

Legolas trained Jeffolas, who very quickly picked up the art of the bow, remarking his potential far surpassed many of his brothers-at-arms. But Jeffolas only learned the basics, and, with great apprehension, more intermediate techniques. Despite learning these techniques, he constantly reminded his tutor that these skills would only be used for hunting, and nothing more. But somehow Legolas knew that mindset would change, he just did not know how it would.

The Faelons stayed in Mirkwood for approximately 1460 more years. In that time, many things began to change around them. The Kingdoms of Gondor and Rohan were established. Sauron had slowly begun to return to power, Dol Guldur being the first signs of it. The Lord of the Nazgul established a strong foothold in the northern reaches of Eriador, establishing the Kingdom of Angmar, gaining the support of the Rhudaurians (led by the Hill-Men at this time, and not the Dunedain). The northern Kingdom of Arnor, once centralized around Lake Nenuial and the city of Annuminas, had fragmented into three separate kingdoms: the aforementioned Rhudaur, Cardolan and Arthedain. The Witch-King of Angmar crushed the northern Kingdoms of Arthedain and Cardolan. In addition, Sauron, taking advantage of the Dwarves of Khazad-Dum awakening a sleeping Balrog, infests Khazad-Dum with Goblins, giving the Dwarves reason enough to name it “Moria.” And finally, The Shire had been founded by the Periannath that came from the east to settle in Eriador.

Around the year 2510 of the Third Age, emissaries from Lorien came to Mirkwood, asking the assistance of Arenthir, who had helped the Galadhrim’s scouts keep the woods safe from harm. Celebrian, wife of Elrond Half-Elven, had stayed in Lorien visiting her mother Galadriel. Elrond requested that Arenthir be the one to lead the escort caravan over the Misty Mountains (as Khazad-Dum had become too dangerous to travel anymore. Arenthir gladly accepts the request, desiring to see Imladris and Elrond once again. Jeffolas and Nimirian go ahead of their father, making it to Imladris with little trouble. It was there they awaited their father. To their surprise, Glorfindel, thought dead after his grapple with the Balrog, had been sent back to Middle-Earth to fight back the evils. Pleased were both siblings and Glorfindel to learn that fellow Gondolithrim still inhabited Middle-Earth. Glorfindel, remembering the Faelon name and Adreil's sacrifice to buy time for her people's escape, became very protective of the two siblings, sensing much of their parents within them. As a result, Glorfindel acted as a second-father to Jeffolas, providing him aid and counsel whenever he can.

In Imladris, Nimirian and Jeffolas awaited their father’s coming, but when Arenthir had not arrived, everyone grew concerned. On the eve before the day Elrond was to send scouts out to learn of Arenthir and Celebrian’s whereabouts, one of the guards watching the road into the Misty Mountains spotted an elf crawling through the snows of the Misty Mountains, he was heavily wounded.

Elrond, upon learning of the identity of the elf, and his condition, sent Elladan and Elrohir to the Misty Mountains, and sent Glorfindel to fetch Nimirian and Jeffolas. When Jeffolas and Nimirian beheld their father, gravely wounded with a poisoned blade, and in bed with an unusually pale pallor, they nearly despaired. Arenthir informed Elrond that his escort had been jumped by Goblins camped up in the high passes of the Misty Mountains, only he survived, Celebrian was taken by the Goblins to their home in the caves. Elladan and Elrohir would eventually save their mother from the clutches of the Goblins.

Jeffolas and Nimirian were very afraid, the poison that wounded both Celebrian and Arenthir was highly fatal, and Elrond was not even sure he could cure it. Eventually, however, the poison would be cured. But for Celebrian, Middle-Earth had lost its beauty; the torture she endured traumatized her deeply. Arenthir, though not tortured, was heavily wounded in addition to the poison. The trauma, on top of that of losing his wife in the Fall of Gondolin, made him decide that the only way he could ever be happy again was to leave Middle-Earth as well, not even his children could fill that void in his soul anymore.

Jeffolas would be greatly changed by this event, just as Elladan and Elrohir were inspired to stand against the Orcs and Goblins to avenge their mother, so too was Jeffolas inspired to finally pursue the art of the bowmen to fight off the forces of Sauron, and restore peace to Middle-Earth, so that he could save the lives of many.

Nimirian ultimately decided to set sail into the West with Arenthir, begging Jeffolas to follow. Yet Jeffolas would not be swayed, he refused to let any other person of this Middle-Earth suffer his anguish, be they Elf, Dwarf, Man, or Hobbit. Bidding them both a farewell at Mithlond, Jeffolas stayed for a few months at the Refuge of Edhellion in Ered Luin on his way back to Imladris. There he used the skills taught to him by Legolas to defend the refuge from the assailing forces of Skorgrim Dourhand, though the Refuge would fall into decay.

A few hundred years later, Elrond senses a great evil stirring withing Ered Luin, and dispatches a company of elves to the ruins of Edhellion, led by his two sons, Elladan and Elrohir. In that company, Elrond reluctantly allows Jeffolas Faelon to travel with them (as he promised Arenthir he would not allow his son to come to harm). The things Jeffolas learned in that journey inspired him to not only take action against Sauron, but to also take action against the rising power of Angmar, and defend Eriador from a potentially disastrous course of events that could lead to its downfall.

Jeffolas began to train even more fiercely than before, eventually becoming a hunter of great renown amongst the Free Peoples, and feared amongst his enemies. He became entwined with an epic struggle with a renewed Angmar. Eventually, his deeds caught the attention of an elf named Melwhin and her kinship, who have dedicated themselves to fighting back the forces of Angmar. Jeffolas joined the kinship and is now involved in saving his newfound friend’s life from the hands of a Rhudaurian spirit.

In the process, he has become smitten with Lady Celendil, an elf of Rivendell who is a dear friend to Melwhin. He finds it odd, despite his pledge to never love again, he does everything in his power to keep her safe from harm. And despite his efforts to capture her attention, Celendil's persistent and dedicated drive to save Melwhin makes her oblivious to Jeffolas' feelings towards her, and she has yet to acknowledge his feelings. Jeffolas, however, will not be swayed.

Any criticism, comments, or corrections would be greatly appreciated, I will fix them as I (or anyone else) sees them.

Warning this is long and will not all be posted today, but shall be finished by this hands end.

Sitting in her room, the white study robes falling freely around slippered feet, wondering how to approach them. She was starting with the words once again… as if looking at the words on the paper would some how make them come to life. She listened to that still small voice that always was the brave one to speak in her…“Freedom is worth everything. This is why when I was given My SOL quest, it was a perfect fit in description to what I needed to do even with myself. There are so many that do not understand it, so many that don’t understand to defend it. I know, it is not an easy task... but that is fine by Me. I did not come this far by taking the easy path, I know the one I choose to follow. Fighting for Freedom is usually NEVER easy, if it was then it would not mean so much when it was achieved. Nor does it ever come at a cheap price... it takes time and work and maybe even losing your own life over, but for the greater picture... it is worth it... if I had to know that to have My freedom - I would have had to die for it a moment later... it would have all been worth it for that moments peace... and knowing that it was my own... all MY own.”

Shaking her head the bountiful blonde curls bounce. She paces the tiny floor once again, swearing to herself that she will find the right words to make them understand. It must be done with respect though … and tact… neither of which she was abundant with. Patience was definitely not one of Elaine’s Virtues. This also had to be accomplished in the time set forth, without the help of those that sought to control Her. Even still She had heard them calling to her, leaving her messages and notes. She was not one that would ever be bought off so easily. Settling at the small desk thinking maybe if it was written to them, they could read it at their own time… and then call her in privately if needed…wishing her mentor was here so that she could speak to her of things, so much has happened.

Writing slowly… I voice my opinions too much though… I am trying to learn to temper it… Growing up a young girl, I never feared hard work... but I did people. I guess sometimes I still do. I take my responsibilities very serious and do not lightly joke of holding peoples lives in my hand. It is sometimes a joy to know that there are those that may trust Me and want to know me... at other times it is a curse. I t is very scary to see the lives that have been before me. These Halls echo with their words, wisdom and taunts. I accepted my quest knowing nothing about it; it was what was given to me to do. As far as I am concerned Sirs, that is still all there is to it. I have heard the whispers; I have seen the heads shake. I was once a slave, I am now ~you~. Gilla must be revenged.

Picking it up and reading it again and again… and thinking no, still to strong, still to boastful. Starting it all over again. I have arisen nearly thirty years since I was first taken into the SOL as an acolyte. The time comes so quickly here some years… and some… so very slowly… but at the 65th -year… time seems to slow greatly for those that are Soldiers… and another sort of time seems to take over… They seem to greatly celebrate each time one grows though… Pings, Dings, and WOOT’s are heard nearly everyday somewhere in the Halls, grounds or lands of Norrath. I wish to be one of these. I will do whatever task is given to me for quest… I shall do it happily and complete it in the time set to me or I will die trying. There, short, sweet and to the point… she hopes. Looking up to see the time, she slipped out of her room and pads down the hallway, seeing Dart, (hee) dart by… thinking that is great she must tell Him of that later.

She had hoped the sun has not yet risen, as she had chores to be done before once again starting the research for her spells and go to see if I can pay some of the locals to help Me go and kill more Cave Lords. She rolls up the scroll and leaves it outside of the doorway where she heard the voices inside, and scurry back as quickly as she could to dress for the day and continue helping free those that are in bondage… no matter what else is given to Her to do…she knew She must take up the Revenge of Gilla.

re: Part Two

Sneaking back into the great Hall of Light, changing out of the dirty worn robes, washing quickly and slipping into the clean pure white robes of study, she races down the hall towards the library and the now neglected studies. Pleased with herself that the second sash that was obtained… Peering to the great board of messages and seeing nothing new for her, she ties up the long lush locks of hair into a braid, puts the circlet in her hair and enters the library to begin again. Too entranced into her studies to notice at first. Suddenly she sees and hears someone at the window… peeking around and then looking up to see who it is… It is Erg… and friends shouting something about Droga… eyes deep set from lack of sleep, Elaine quickly races back to her room, putting on again the old dirty robes, grabbing her spell book and bag of supplies and makes a mad dash for the doors of the hall… Nodding and bowing as she should to those that are above her… sticking out her tongue to a couple of those that are equal to her, all seeing such a blur.

Fighting down into His lair again… knowing that none have gotten a sash this day or the last eve… her chances are good. They fight fiercely, as men strive for right, and pure of heart, as they are brave. Feeling so happy to have good friends and the fellowship of not having tried this alone again, she thanks the group as they get yet another Lord to come. Shivering to remember the previous day’s fight of trying it alone and nearly dieing, again and again. Knowing now you can’t charm them, you can’t have a pet fight them and you certainly can’t try and root them for that long at her level. Almost as if a dream… they kill it… and figure it to be naked as well… but low and behold it was there, the third sash. The group jumps with jubilee and celebration and lots of drinking ensues… but knowing the hour… she must head to bed… later that day will begin the track to FV… and the revenge of Gilla will be complete. Rising early that day to complete her chores… knowing she has a long trek ahead. Having no idea what to say, Elaine asks for help from those that know more then she does. Surefire gives her some words to help and she is off like a flash. Ceris’ sure steady feet take her in long strides to the cavern that will take her to FV. She leaves Him there and runs the rest of the way through the cave to the other side… remember the spider encounter, she makes her self invisible, in the shape of the wolf, and levitates herself to get over the spiders and across the waters. Running into the city she excitedly bumps head first into Gilla. Eyes alight with merriment and mirth… quickly Hailing her, speaking to her for a moment and giving her all that had been so long to gather… Elaine tells her that she is sorry that it is all that she can do… for now… Gilla gives Elaine something, a necklace. Actually an amulet… Gilla tells her it is her reward for a job well done… and Elaine with all the glee of the young girl that she still is… dashes back to show those in the Guild Halls what it is she has done. Gilla has been avenged.

Rising early in the morning, the sun rise the most beautiful she has seen here yet… Crisp and still is this day. The birds sing loudly as Elaine starts running quickly to wash, as the cold ground slides quickly underfoot… eyes still blurry from lack of sleep the night before. Elaine thinks to herself, only a few more spells. Peering left and then right as I leave the towel and fresh robes at the foot of the Temple… The tall slender form easily climbing up the edge of the ramp, and sneaking around the corner of the Tower, towards the edge…one at a time, nimble feet prance upon the slick stones, till I reach the right one…. Dropping the old robes down the side of the tower to the ground below then disappearing at the last second. Taking a giant step towards the side and sailing down to the warmer waters below, landing in a large but silent ~swish~ into the lake. Swimming across to the other side holding her breath for as long as she dares before surfacing once again to gasp for breath and then diving again to finish the rest of the journey across the lake. Surprised when she surfaces to see that she has gone farther today then even yesterday, pleased with herself, she does not even take the time to climb the other side but swim back quickly to where she has left her robes and dressing again after washing quickly and plaiting her long lush locks into the braid of the student. The pure white robes glistening nearly as much as deep dark damning orbs do. Eyes dancing with delight at the new necklace, putting it on proudly, but under my robes, as I do not wish to seem to be showing it off. Gathering up some of the wild flowers nearby and hurrying back into the Great Hall to run and grab my books and back pack, and chest still heaving to and fro from the long run…leaving the flowers outside of ‘His’ door. Giggling as she runs off to her studies… soon she would become a woman.

Now you are asking me to remember some things that have happened too long ago; but as I recall, Elaine now known as Elaine a Llyonesee, was not born into that title, or even that name. She is the now Mother of Rianna the Llyonesee, the Lady of the Green Isles, and Huntress of Scagnar. Just in keeping with the story so you can know whom everyone is; Rianna is the mother of Magdlen. You know who Magi is… or should I say… was. Rianna does not live in My realm though but in your own. She is doomed to die in the land to which she now resides. But Rianna sent Magi to be brought up, as a Woman should be strong, defined, and honorable.

But I digress; this is to be of Elaine and how she came to be whom she was. Elaine was born a slave in these lands; her parents gave her to slavery before she could even remember them. They thought she was odd and a bit slow. Now as it once was before Elaine was given her freedom, she had given birth to Rianna. After doing such, she was given freedom. But it has come at a steep price, as Elaine’s husband had her killed for being in love, but not with Him.

Now before this tragedy befell her, when Elaine came to be with the child Rianna, she was shown that her abilities can be used here for wonderful good. Elaine learned more of her magic and casting ever day. She has found a new god and happiness in this land. She has made many new friends and even thought to love a Husband whom helped to teach her as much as taunt her. His name was Kripsin Kurehall. You may ask why such an old man married a young lady? Well I am guessing you are not stupid, he fancied all the things she could do for Him that he as a Cleric could not do for himself. She got him hooked on mind candy and gave him reason for being a cleric often by dying in every possible place, by every possible way imagined. Krippie as she calls him, is a Cleric in this realm, the Land of Norrath.

Kripsin helped to find someone to further Mentor Ryanne. This dubious job goes to a wonderful Lady named ~Stardove~. I tell you that this woman needs all the help that she can get. OH! now don’t get this writer wrong, Elaine was a very obedient and determined student. She was still a bit slow, but she shows some of her past life still. She has a tendency to want to kill first and ask questions later. That just won’t work in the life of an Enchantress. Elaine struggles along as do the rest of the people she has found here in this realm, making friends along the way. Wondering if she has truly found a family in this land of so many strangers, hoping never to walk alone again. As you read this story, I hope you enjoy and maybe find some of yourself in this young lass. I wish you well. Oh, you wonder who I am? I am of course who watches over her; The Lady of the Green Isles.

I am the Llyonesse, the Lady of magic and the one that on purpose… seeks to walk alone.

( To be continued )
