A long while back we had a RL photo thread, and I thought it might be fun to give it another go with all of the new members we have..and trin will love you if you post here, so, go on ahead and don't pull a mel and be shy.

And so I'm not a hypocrite...here are a few so the new peeps can see what I do in my off game time.

And I told Aryanne that I would post a picture of what my backyard looks like. This is a 15 minuet drive to the trailhead and a 4 mile hike to this location. My mountains are cool.

Ok, adding my grizzeled ol' butt to the board

These shots are from '03 when the agency I was working for was shooting a commercial for Casino Monte Lago in Las Vegas. I went there merely to assist in hanging some banners and signs when the director said he wanted me in there - so off to costuming I went and spent the next 3 days having a blast.

I'm the silver haired/bearded muttonhead.

Fine, I'm caving in.... and currently, these are the most recent pictures I have...



This is me when I went to Istanbul, Turkey as a delegate to the OECD on behalf of IBM. The picture was taken at Dolmabahçe Palace, the old home of the Sultan (that's one of the gates behind me).

Here's one more picture from that dinner, to just put it into perspective:





This is a different dinner that same week with other delegates. I'm the one on the right behind the Chief Statistician from Japan and next to the Secretary of Culture of Bhutan.

Hahaha, yeah, I can see how that would get him excited! I remember talking to the secretary, and he told me that the reason he was at the OECD world conference was to present some findings on a study they did on Happiness. They wanted to figure out why everyone in Bhutan are happy compared with neighboring countries... Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend that session . However, I remember him saying that all of the survey letters that they sent out to the population were returned completely filled out (they had over 200 questions!!!). He would say, "Only in Bhutan!!!" with a thick accent. Cracks me up remembeing it even to this day.
