LOTRO Player Council

Starting March 22st, 2013, we invite players to apply for the LOTRO Player’s Council. Don’t want to join yourself? Recommend a fellow player you feel will be a positive addition to the council. We may also select players based on their in-game and community behavior and extend an invitation even if they have not otherwise applied or been nominated. Membership in the council is intended to be yearly, and new members will be added annually. Council members will be announced on or before April 19th.

Sounds like we have the option to nominate someone from the kin, but if someone is interested, they can simply apply themselves.

I sent an email in. I've been playing since 2009 and, as most of you know, I have some strong opinions. I think Turbine did a great job in the early days but it got away from them. I'd love to help them move back to something that's more enjoyable for new, casual and even altaholic players. I suggest anyone else who loves Tolkien's universe and wants to see the game improved apply. The more the merrier!

Turbine just announced on their twitter feed that e-mails have been sent to those selected for the first iteration of the Players Council. So, if you don't have an e-mail, it's sad-face time.
