SUBJET OF MEETING: EVENTS FOR 5TH ANNIVERSARY KIN PARTY FROM AUGUST 2 THROUGH AUGUST 6.

NOTE: TRIN WILL HAVE A KIN HAUBERK. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU GET IT AND WEAR IT. THERE WILL BE ONE IN THE KIN HOUSE. PLEASE PUT IT ON AS A COSMETIC AND RETURN THE ITEM TO THE KIN HOUSE CHEST. DO NOT KEEP IT.

1, Volunteers to escort Chicken Run on Friday, August 3, 6:30 pm eastern time are Pyramus and Georgian. Everen will post the pre-requisites on the website.

2. Fishing contest will be for fifteen minute time frame prior to the Chicken Run at 6:00 pm eastern time. It will be held on Friday, August 3. Dall will run the contest for the European time zone, approximately 3:00 pm eastern time (exact time to be determined). Plaidflower will run the second fishing contest. It will be held outside of South Bree gate on the right at Hale Catch Lake. The number of rare fish (purple background) caught will determine the winner. Each contest will have it’s own prizes.

3.. Pub crawl and freeze tag will be held on Sunday, August 5, 3:00 pm eastern time. This will end on Weather Top with screenshots.

4. Kin parade, trivia contest, drunken fence walk and prize raffle are on Saturday, August 4 starting at 3:00 pm.

5. Mari is coordinating the skirmish contest. If an officer is on please time the teams. More teams are needed. This will be a school and library run. All mobs must be cleared in both instances. Let Mari know if you have a team and wish to join. Each person on the team will get a crafted Draigoch cloak. Mari will post the info for this event on the website. Deadline for sign-up is July 31. This will be held for five days. Teams need to be available.

6. Trin needs contestants for the fashion contest. It will be held in Thorin’s Hall on Monday, August 6, at 6:00 pm eastern time. The winner (best outfit) will lead the parade. The loser (worst outfit) will be last in line in the parade.

7. Everen, Taisie, Mari and Trin will coordinate on the rewards for each event and coordinate with the crafters.

8. Trin asked the following: respect fellow kin members, keep conversation to PG-13 during daylight hours, avoid sexual jokes, no selling in kin chat, etc. In other words be respectful and understanding of fellow kinmates. This applies to both vent and kin chat. In raids be respectful and helpful. Please don’t drop group just because things are not going well. No one in kin should be making fun of any other kin members. If you think someone is treating you in an improper manner send the chat log/in game email to Trin and Mari.

9. Trin asked if anyone has any input.

10. Nesse mentioned her account was breached this week and apologized for any tels, emails, etc. that may have been sent from her account.

11. If Everen needs volunteers to craft for party prizes he will post it on the website. He has about fifty crafters available at the moment.

12. The events will run from August 2 through August 5. It will start with a parade on Thursday, August 2 at 8:00 pm eastern time.

13. There will be a server wide scavenger hunt run by Melwhin. He will put details on the forums.

14. Trin closed the meeting with the following. Turbine may provide prizes and help recognize that we have been here as a kin for five years. Trin has not received a final answer yet. She is working with Turbine.
