GLINGHANT - EVENDIM
Glinghant is a linear instance that takes about an hour to complete with no wipes. The entrance to the instance is due East of the ranger camp, and located right next to the player camp Clohir.
In order to access the instance you must first defeat the Nemesis, Elite Master and two Elites guarding the Clohir camp.
QUESTS: Once you've cleared Clohir all three quests can be picked up from an NPC that appears there.
[50] Gilganant Corrupted
[50] Impure Waters - use a vial to cleanse each of the terraces.
[50] Keep it From the Enemy
NOTE: The instance will not reset upon a wipe so you can all retreat and run back in and not lose the work you've done. To reset the instance disband the group and reform it.
WALKTHROUGH
ROOM 1: ENTRANCE
There are three elites to defeat. Make sure to take down the High Priestess in the center as she will summon an normal add every other second unless interrupted.
ROOM 2: TERRACE ONE
NOTE: The Glimmering Limerfan is non hostile and is only there to show you which switches to pull.
Clear each side separately, then clear the six gloom waters in the center of the room.
Watch the light as it will show you which to switches to pull to open the next terrace. The switches have to be pulled at the same time.
NOTE: Have your two people stand next to each of the gates as a high priestess will appear and start summoning adds immediately after the switches are pulled. The can be stunned, feared or interrupted.
ROOM 3: TERRACE TWO
The main boss Nengon will appear and give a little speech challenging you to figure out his riddle. Have everyone stand on the stairs with the stairs outside of the room with the minstrels farther behind and have your tank pull the switch.
You will be attacked by three waves of 4 gloom waters. We didn't test this, but fighting outside the room should prevent being attacked by each wave with no break.
Have your minstrel stand on the flowerbed for this fight. This will help keep them from being attacked by any of the waves.
Wave 1:
Wave 2: Casts a slow attack speed 100% aura.
Wave 3: Has a silence aura if you are to close. Make sure your minstrels stay back and do not get aggro.
Once the three waves are defeated go back to terrace one an look at the the three switches that the light will want you to pull to open up the way to the next terrace.
ROOM 4: TERRACE THREE
Terrace Three will have three elite master trees on it. Have everyone stay on the stairs outside the room and have the tank run in and attack the 4 gloom waters in the center of the room. Fight them OUTSIDE the room as you can avoid aggroing each wave.
Wave 1: 100% slow gloom waters (4)
Wave 2: Silence gloom waters (4)
Wave 3: Elite Master Trees that cannot move - fight them from a distance
Once Terrace three is cleared go back to terrace one. All six switches will need to be pulled.
ROOM 5: BOSS ROOM
You will have about 10 seconds once you enter the room before Nengon will attack. Position your group just to the left of the right stairs along a picket fence. Have everyone keep their backs to this fence. This will prevent you from being attacked by the adds that he summons.
Without adds the boss is a simple kill until dead encounter.
WARNING: Leaving the room resets the boss but not the adds.
DROPS: Broken Arnorian Armour
